When asked to sum up my experience as an Intended Mother so many things come to mind….joy, excitement, anxiety, and friendship to name a few. We looked for a very long time for a gestational carrier and found the right match and it made all the difference. The journey was easy as soon as we took the plunge and let ourselves trust that it would all work out. It’s about letting your faith be bigger than your fear. We gained an incredible friendship with our surrogate as well as a gorgeous baby. When my baby comes up and hugs me I am so thankful we choose surrogacy and am forever thankful to our surrogate.
